Olivier and Carole didn’t hesitate after they got here throughout this millstone home from the start of the century, a stone’s throw from Parc Montsouris. It was simply excellent for a big blended household. Delightfully old school with its small rooms and flowered papers, it nonetheless wanted a whole overhaul. This allowed it to be barely restructured to make it a spot that’s completely tailored to the brand new inhabitants.
Every ground is superbly organised. The bottom ground is the assembly place for the entire household: a good looking entrance corridor with its 1900 cement tiles and an invigorating pink color, a big front room with two deep velvet sofas and a studying nook close to the library and the fireside; an enormous kitchen with a farm desk and huge cabinets for displaying the dishes, not forgetting the scullery which overlooks the internal courtyard. The primary ground is the kids’s ground: two bedrooms for the ladies with a spacious toilet to share, a 3rd bed room with its rest room for Igor. The highest ground below the roof is especially the mother and father’, with an enormous room that enables for the buildup of books…
