We’ve beforehand admired the work of Melanie Molesworth and Julia Hen, longtime associates and former stylists who, for his or her store, Molesworth & Hen, stroll the coast close to their respective houses in Dorset and Cornwall to collect seaweed, then press and protect the specimens into painterly prints, cushions, enamelware, and different housewares. These days I’ve been significantly taken by their pressed-seaweed tea towels and napkins: the ephemeral captured in an on a regular basis object.
