Gallery Collectional, a collectible design gallery in Dubai, has offered its inaugural exhibition that includes furnishings and lighting crafted by seven Asian designers.
For City Material Sequence 001, Gallery Collectional invited seven designers to create designs knowledgeable by the city settings from which they hail, together with Tokyo, Seoul and Hangzhou.

Korean designer Teo Yang used remnants of conventional Korean homes generally known as hanoks – together with glass, rubble, marble and veneer – to create a sequence of furnishings items.
The gathering, named Remaining Issues, features a room divider made out of hanok panels and a desk made out of a repurposed column with a steel base and glass tabletop.
Koren design studio Kuo Duo, based by Hwachan Lee and Yoomin Maeng, is showcasing a pair of chairs with an identical ottoman made out of recycled plastic.
The Kerf Plastic seats have been designed to showcase the “untapped potential” of the fabric to type three-dimensional objects, in line with the duo.
