Noticed these multilayered doorways and home windows in Kakunodate, a city in Akita Prefecture recognized for its preserved samurai residences and different historic buildings. These ones particularly caught my eye as a result of they regarded very steampunk to me. Simply love the mix of wooden and brick, and the way heavy they give the impression of being.
