Is there a specific name for a townhouse with different units on different levels? I see this more and more as a way of having higher density townhouse development. : architecture

I’m in Calgary and personal considered one of these fashion of models. Hubby and I’ve the second/third flooring unit that sits back-to-back with an equivalent unit, with the only floor flooring unit under each of us. It by no means feels cramped. Having two residing flooring makes it really feel extra like a small home to us. The guy under likes the extra apartment-type structure and will get a small non-public backyard patio, too. Plus it was tremendous low-cost (foreclosures after main renovations on the entire complicated), and has many giant bushes and lawns. Constructed mid-70s.
