Saint Paul’s Seminary

This brutalist constructing in Westerleigh Staten Island is what the AIA information calls, "Staten Island's most weird constructing, a mix of structure and monumentally scaled sculpture.”

The constructing was designed by Silverman & Cika for the Society of St Paul, whose acolytes’ mission is to "evangelize with the trendy instruments of communications."

Upon its completion in 1969, the constructing was used as a publishing home with printing presses, a guide bindery, and lodging for practically 30 clergymen and brothers.
