Aude and her household bought the property in Ashgrove, Brisbane after a earlier renovation that had opened the house’s higher flooring. The bottom degree, nonetheless, remained underutilised and minimize off from the big yard.

‘I used vibrant and muted tones drawn from the pure magnificence of those environment,’ Aude says.

‘I imported the metal doorways from Sydney, the cement tiles from Morocco and Vietnam, and the wallpapers from France and England.’

The remaining bedrooms and loos had been moved to the higher flooring, together with the principle bed room that replaces the earlier kitchen.
