The South Australian authorities has unveiled idea designs for a brand new Adelaide Aquatic Centre, which is able to substitute the prevailing centre within the northern park lands at Pardipardinyilla / Denise Norton Park.
In September 2022, JPE Design Studio and Warren and Mahoney have been appointed to design the brand new centre.

The $135-million, multi-level facility will accommodate a 25-metre, six-lane outside pool with a lagoon; devoted swimming pools for rehabilitation and learn-to-swim applications; gymnasium, sauna and steam room amenities; a restaurant and play areas.
The brand new centre could have a smaller footprint than the prevailing one, returning roughly 1,000 sq. metres to the Adelaide Park Lands that encompass town. The constructing can be designed to be embedded throughout the pure panorama and align with Nationwide Heritage ideas, with clear delineation between town and the park lands.
A improvement software will probably be submitted to the State Fee Evaluation Panel within the coming weeks. If authorised, the brand new centre is anticipated to be full in late 2025.
