First stage of The Foundation nears completion

The primary façade of the brand new constructing is an open jointed limestone rainscreen, with stone fluting to the bottom as a nod to the close by Battle Memorial constructing’s fluted entry columns.

Van Tonder says the constructing has a best-practice thermal envelope with exterior insulation all through, together with a heat roof. It additionally has thermally damaged cavity battens to the bronze anodised cladding and thermally damaged home windows with low E glazing.
