RMIT deputy vice-chancellor Tim Marshall has introduced professor Vivian Mitsogianni as the brand new dean of RMIT’s College of Structure and City Design.
Her appointment comes after a “prolonged worldwide recruitment course of”, the college stated, after which Mitsogianni was chosen for her expertise as an award-winning architect, a practice-based researcher, and an educational chief.
Most just lately, Mitsogianni was a member of the college’s management crew as affiliate dean for structure from 2013, and a professor of structure since 2017. Previous to this, she led the RMIT Design Analysis Institute’s Future Cloth of Cities flagship program.
