Hi not sure where else to ask, but found a weird quirk in our house; the window spacing on the left vs right doesn’t match. Is this a design variation, or was this house like the ugly duckling defective build? 2008 build : architecture

I would guess the window placement was dictated by the rooms’ sizes and positions inside after which an try was made to present the skin a vaguely symmetrical colonial look. Sadly it is a bit of off-putting: not symmetrical sufficient to look symmetrical, and never asymmetrical sufficient to look intentional.

If this have been my home it could trouble me. I would most likely construct a coated porch over the entrance door and one set of double home windows to present the home an asymmetricality that appeared intentional.
