A college robotics laboratory has claimed the highest Australian prize on the 2022 Dulux Color Awards, whereas a small-scale renovation gained the equal prize in New Zealand.
The judges noticed color methods that “challenged stereotypes” among the many stand out tasks, notably within the Monash Robotics Lab by Studio Vibrant, which acquired the Grand Prix for Australia and the Industrial Inside – Public and Hospitality award. “Eschewing the scientific, sterile palette sometimes related to science services, this lab is heat and alluring because of a play of earthy tones, color pops and calming greens,” the judges stated.
The New Zealand Grand Prix winner Eden View by Pac Studio was lauded for its “unwavering dedication to color” that yielded a “transformative and extremely efficient end result.”
“The diploma of sophistication on this yr’s award-winning tasks is exemplary, a real testomony to design professionals’ mastery of color as an integral design software,” stated Dulux Color and Communications Supervisor Andrea Lucena-Orr.
