Benalla Rural Metropolis Council has introduced it’s accepting tenders from skilled architects to design the Benalla Artwork Gallery Redevelopment.
The Benalla Artwork Gallery is a public gallery positioned throughout the Benalla Botanical Gardens in regional Victoria.
Established in 1968, the Benalla Artwork Gallery was initially designed by Philip Sargeant and Colin Munro and is the cornerstone of the area’s artistic tradition, housing a set of three centuries of Australian artwork and a number of European ornamental works.
Council is searching for tenderers to ship two outcomes for the present area: a masterplan design for the longer term redevelopment of the gallery, to be delivered in a staged strategy, and detailed architectural drawing for stage one of many redevelopments.
Funding for the primary stage of the redevelopment has been allotted by the Victorian Authorities to boost the gallery entry, carry the workers and back-of-house areas, and increase the present cafe amenities.
Tenders shut Friday 18 March at 2 pm.
To entry the tender paperwork, register through the Benalla Rural Metropolis Council e-tendering web site.
