A month in the past, Margot profiled an uncommonly trendy starter condominium in Paris (see The Final First House: A Brother and Sister’s Shared Quarters). The redone flat on a quiet cul-de-sac within the eleventh arrondissement is the work of designer Marianne Evennou, who once more wielded her trademark method with shade and use of inside home windows for bringing within the Paris gentle.
Right now we’re taking a more in-depth take a look at the environment friendly shades-of-blue kitchen, with parts of the late-Nineteenth-century constructing nonetheless intact.

Above: The 90-square-meter (968-square toes) condominium is on the bottom ground. The primary entrance (not fairly seen on the wall reverse the partition) opens right into a small hallway and the kitchen and dwelling space past. The palette all through is blue on blue, together with the ground, which is concrete with a wax end.

Evennou made the eating desk herself with a plank from Atmosphère d’Ailleurs atop readymade metal desk legs. Along with the cool blue palette, there’s a cloth combine: shiny counters, an assemblage of picket eating chairs and perches, natural-fiber pendants and baskets, and a woven rug.Above: A trio of Solo Pendant Lights by Atelier Vime illuminate the workspace. The bespoke cabinets, together with a built-in plate rack, add to the small kitchen’s effectivity.
